Suicidality and Self-Harm: If you're struggling with thoughts of suicide or engaging in self-harming behaviours, I offer compassionate support to explore underlying issues, develop coping strategies, and create a safety plan to keep you supported and safe.
Self-Esteem and Confidence: Building self-esteem and confidence is key to living a fulfilling life. I work with you to identify negative self-beliefs, challenge self-doubt, and cultivate a positive self-image so you can embrace your worth and potential.
My Approach
I believe in a holistic approach to wellbeing integrating mind and body, and work collaboratively with other health practicioners: physicians (family GPs and psychiatrists), dieticians, and so on. I combine evidence-based techniques with empathy and understanding to create a therapeutic environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain insights, and make positive changes in your life.

Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT): Combines cognitive and behavioural techniques to help manage intense emotions, improve interpersonal relationships, and develop mindfulness skills.
Psychodynamic Therapy: Explores unconscious thoughts and past experiences to gain insight into current challenges and promote emotional healing.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR): An evidence-based therapy for trauma and PTSD involving reprocessing distressing memories to reduce their impact and promote healing. I also use other hypnotic-type techniques to address issues buried in the subconscious mind.

Our sessions will be structured around discussing your concerns, exploring underlying issues, learning coping skills, and gaining insights into your thoughts and behaviours. Depending on your needs and preferences, therapy may involve talking, reflective exercises, guided visualisation, or other therapeutic techniques. My goal is to support you in improving your mental and emotional wellbeing, enhancing self-awareness, and fostering personal growth and resilience. The overall aim it to guide you to becoming a more fully functioning person.
Fees: $175.00 for a 50 minute session.
