Montem Counselling collects personal information from you, including information about your:

Personal histories, and other clinical information.

We collect your personal information to provide counselling and supervision services.

Besides our staff, we share such information as is necessary with those whom you authorise enabling us to provide our services, make referrals, to protect clients if there is risk of imminent and significant harm to yourself or others, and collect debts.

Providing some information is optional. However, if you choose not to provide reasonable information as requested, we may be unable to provide counselling or supervision services.

We keep your information safe by storing it in encrypted files or locked cabinets and only allowing authorised staff access.

We keep your information for 10 years at which point we securely destroy it by securely erasing digital copies and securely destroying all physical copies.

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong.
